Homebrew Beastkin Vol. 2 Species Details
New subraces of Beastkin to add some flavor.
Beastkin Names
Beastkin have one name, given to them by their masters. Though some choose their own names should they rebel.
Male Names: Artorius, Bruno, Cornelious, Esben, Flick, Izot, Koda, Mogan, Niko, Oz, Pascal, Sorin
Female Names: Adelaide, Bianca, Cecilie, Estelle, Keli, Marbel, Nell, Noemi, Sonia, Sola, Tanja, Yrsa
Beastkin Vol. 2 Traits
Your beastkin character shares these traits amongst other beastkin.Ability Score Increase
Your Dexterity score increases by 2.
Darkvision
Due to your animal nature, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Jaws that Bite
As a bonus action, you may sink your animal teeth into the flesh of your opponents as an unarmed strike. If you hit with it, the damage dealt is 1d6+your Strength modifier.
Claws that Catch
You may strike out with your claws as an unarmed strike. On a successful hit, the damage dealt is 1d6+your Dexterity modifier.
Languages
You can speak, read and write Common as well as the language of your species (i.e. “Squirrel Speak”).
Subrace
In this new version, new subraces have been provided. These include Cats, Ferrets, Possums, Bats and Bears. Choose one of these subraces.
