Homebrew Awakened Doge Species Details
Dogs awakened by some sort of magical means, whether it be an item raising their intelligence or a spell casted on them to raise their intellect.

Being a good doggo comes with benefits! +2 to Charisma and +1 to Dexterity
Age
Due to the magic flowing through your veins, you live longer than most dogs! Awakened dogs can live up to 50 human years.
Alignment
Awakened dogs are dogs. They usually tend to be a bit towards Chaotic Alignments though their Alignment is typically determined by their owner.
Size
Dogs come in varying shapes and sizes but usually tend to be around 2 to 4 feet tall and can weigh anywhere between 10-250 lbs. You are a Medium Creature.
Languages
You can speak, read and write Common. You can also bark, speaking to other canine friends (or enemies) as if constantly under the Speak With Animals spell.
Speed
You have quick paws. You can run far and run fast. Your walking speed is 35ft.
Good Boy
Being such a cute being of fuzzy hair and cute features, you have proficiency in the Persuasion skill.
Bite
As a doggo you have quite sharp teeth for ripping and tearing. Instead of using an unarmed strike, you instead bite an opponent. 1d6+strength mod damage.
Heightened Senses
Due to being a dog, your hearing and sense of smell are heightened. You gain advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that involve hearing or smell.
Canine Pounce
You can burst forth with a sudden rush of strength.
When you Grapple an opponent, they must make an additional Strength(Athletics) check, or be knocked Prone. The DC for this check is equal to 10+Strength Modifier.
Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Commanding Bark
You let out a loud BORK, attempting to startle your foes. All creatures you choose in a 30ft radius must make a Wisdom save, on a fail they are affected by the Frightened status. The DC is 10+Charisma Modifier. You may use this feature only once per short rest.
