Homebrew Awakened Fox Species Details
Foxes are renowned as clever animals, able to avoid the hunter’s hounds which seek them for their valuable furs. However, there have been cases where these creatures have been awaken by druids, mages, or hags for various reasons. Awakened creatures are typically curious, a new found intelligence is definitely something to behold. Despite this, they typically keep their typical predatory instincts, they are most active at night, but they can also be seen by day. Their tails are always tipped white, while their legs, feet, and tips of the ear are always black. The rest of their coat, however, is varied in color: Most commonly red, silver and platinum foxes are also known.

Age
Foxes age rather quickly. They reach physical maturity by 10 months old. However, being an awakened creature, they are constantly learning their entire lives. While most wild fox only live around 4 to 5 years, an awakened creature is often more adaptable, more intelligent, and therefore can live much longer. Awakened foxes can live to be as old as 40 years old, but rarely make it past their mid 20s.
Alignment
Foxes are survivors. They live by the rules of nature and not by those of man. While they are typically neutral, there's no telling what motivations and thoughts are instilled upon a creature once awakened. Awakened creatures typically lean to be more neutral.

Awakened fox are often just above or just below 2 feet tall and have slender builds. Your size is Small.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet, additionally, you have a burrow speed of 5 feet.
Darkvision
Accustomed to twilit forests and the night sky, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
