Homebrew Awakened Undead Species Details

 

Ability Score Increase

 Your ability score improvement depends on which race you have chosen as your skeleton. 

Age

After being reborn and undead as long as the one who created you is still alive then you will continue to exist. Eventually once the necromancer dies then the Awakened undead has another  80 years before their body falls apart and their consciousness leaves them. If a god has chosen to bring back your character then the god decides how long your Awakened Undead lives. 

Alignment

Awakened Undead aline more with themselves than other and tend to lean to a more chaotic alignment. 

Size

The size of your Awakened Undead depends on the race of the skeleton.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common and one extra language of your choice. It does depend on your race beforehand as well. Take into account that the race of your skeleton may have an impact on what languages you might know. 

Darkvision

With the magic in their bones and soul, seeing in the dark is made easy. You can see in dim light within 60 feat as if you were in bright light. In darkness you can see shapes but can not distinguish colour. 

Natural Necromancy

You know the cantrips, chill touch and toll the dead. Use your wisdom as your spellcasting ability. 

Damage Resistance

You have resistance to the damage type poison.

Asphyxiation

You do not need air to breath and can not drown either.
