Homebrew Actaeon Species Details

The Feywild are home to many strange, beautiful and mystic races. None can hold up to the Majesty of the Actaeons.

At first glance, an individual can instantly see the resemblance to a centaur. A body of a horse complete with four powerful legs and the top half of a man. However Actaeons are slightly different. Resting atop their heads are majestic antlers which indicate some relations with the wild elks. Beyond those antlers, these Actaeons are also much thicker and more muscled that the typical centaur, often taking great pride in their physique.

As a race the Actaeons live together in tribes and travel across the Feywilds together. They relish in discovering and finding beauty. Tribes will often travel for many moths just to arrive at a specific location to witness a sunset they have heard is beautiful.

You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push or drag.

In addition, any climb that requires hands and feet is especially difficult for you because of your equine legs. When you make such a climb, each foot of movement costs you 4 extra feet instead of the normal 1 extra foot.

Languages

Shapeshifter

Fey's have been tricking humaniods for centuries, so much so that the Actaeon have developed a human-esque form. In this form the Acteons speed is reduced to 30ft.

Hooves

You have hooves that you can use to make unarmed strikes. When you hit with them, the strike deals 1d6 + your Strength modifier bludgeoning damage, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
