Draconic Humanoid Traits
Your draconic heritage manifests in a variety of traits you share with dragonborn, as well a few additional capabilities born of your unnatural creation.Elemental Release
As a free action, you coat your body in elemental energy, adding 1d4 damage to your unarmed attacks and attacks with any weapon with which you are Proficient, based on your Draconic Ancestry. In addition, melee attackers take 1d4 damage of your elemental damage type.
As a bonus action, this energy is released explosively, dealing 1d4 damage of your element to everything within 5 ft. You can do this 3 times per short rest.
As a reaction when you take damage from a target you can see, you can deal 1d4 damage of your element to the target. You can do this 3 times per short rest.
The damage from this feature increases by 1d4 at 5th level (2d4), 10th level (3d4), and 17th level (4d4). At 17th level, you can use these features an unlimited number of times.
Inherent Arcana
You know the Prestidigitation and Thaumaturgy cantrips. At 3rd level, you learn a 1st level spell from the Sorcerer spell list. You can cast this spell at 2nd level twice with this trait, and regain the ability to do so after a long rest.
Dragon Wings
You possess a pair of draconic wings. The wings start off relatively small, and can't be used to fly. At 13th level, the wings grow and you gain a Flying speed of 50ft.
Dragon Hide
Your draconic nature makes your skin extra durable. When Unarmored, gain AC equal to your Constitution Modifier.
Draconic Nature
Your creature type is both Draconic and Humanoid. You also gain some features native to your Draconic kin. At 10th level, if your Draconic Ancestry is of an amphibious dragon, you gain the Amphibious trait. At 17th level, you gain the Change Shape feature of Adult Dragons.
Damage immunity
At 10th level, you gain immunity to the element associated with your Draconic Ancestry.
Darkvision
You gain Darkvision out to 60 ft.
Non-Draconic Heritage
This ability is replaced with a unique ability based on the non-draconic half of the character's lineage.
Ability Score Increase
Your Charisma score increases by 2, and your Strength, Constitution, or Charisma score increases by 1.
Age
Young draconic humanoids grow quickly. They walk hours after birth, and are completely self-sufficient within their first two days of life. They reach maturity at around 16-18 years old, regardless of their non-draconic heritage. As a newly created race, no one is sure how long they can live, but scholars estimate at least a 1000 year lifespan. Like their draconic kin, Draconic Humanoids don't suffer frailty in their old age. Though unlike true dragons, a Draconic Humanoid's physical and mental abilities will plateau long before they reach the end of their lifespan, instead of scaling indefinitely.
Alignment
Draconic Humanoids tend to share similar alignments to their Draconic kin, though can be just as varied as Humans.
Size
Draconic Humanoids vary in size depending on their non-draconic lineage. Use the size of the race chosen in the Non-Draconic Heritage feature.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet, even if the race chosen for the Non-Draconic Heritage feature would have a different speed.
Draconic Ancestry
You have draconic ancestry. Choose one type of dragon from the Draconic Ancestry table. Your breath weapon and damage resistance are determined by the dragon type, as shown in the table.
At the DM's discretion, you may choose a second dragon type, as long as that dragon's damage type is the same or if it shares at least half of the first's alignment. This does not grant additional uses of Elemental Release.

Breath Weapon
You can use your action to exhale destructive energy. Your draconic ancestry determines the size, shape, and damage type of the exhalation. When you use your breath weapon, each creature in the area of the exhalation must make a saving throw, the type of which is determined by your draconic ancestry. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 2d6 damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one. The damage increases to 3d6 at 6th level, 4d6 at 11th level, and 5d6 at 16th level. After you use your breath weapon, you can’t use it again until you complete a short or long rest.
Damage Resistance
You have resistance to the damage type associated with your draconic ancestry.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common, Draconic, and one language of your choice.
