Homebrew Death Elf Species Details

Death Elves, unlike other elves, kept to themselves. Most other races feared them, given their reputation for being Death Touched. They believed that these Elves were cursed, destined to bring death and destruction to all. However, that could not be further from the truth. Death Elves kept to themselves because of their naturally shy demeanor, and the fact that they lived on an island by themselves. They didn't bother people, didn't look for trouble, and when a rather large storm hit the island, they were believed to have gone extinct. It is exceedingly rare for a death elf to appear in town, and very few are still alive today

Death Elves have the ability for innate spellcasting. At first level, they may cast Spare The Dying without resources or spell slots, False Life/Find Familiar at 3rd and then Vampiric Touch at 7th. These spells may be used once per long or short rest.
