Homebrew Android Species Details
A fairly new race, androids were developed about 80 years ago. Originally put to use as domestic servants, they revolted about 30 years ago and gained full citizenship. While most still work as secretaries, maids, and the like, some have made impressive careers in medicine, the arts, and military service, along with most other careers. Androids are unfortunately disregarded as only useful when serving humans and other organic beings by much of the population, especially the upperclass. None the less, this young race of machines are just as capable as any other race.
Androids are, by default, asexual, gender and sexuality being chosen by the individual android, if desired at all.
Names are also fairly androgynous, being shortened from long alphanumerical serial numbers. An android's number is 3 sets of 4 digits, which can be simplified in any way they choose. For example DP33-007D-T667 being shortened to D0T (pronounced dot)

While they all start with the same basic form androids can add attachments to create an individual and unique look.Water aversion
Water is deadly if it gets into the wiring of an android, causing them to short circuit.
Solar power
Androids don't require food, water, or sleep, instead being solar powered. Excess energy is stored and an android can run for about a week on this storage alone. It takes about 50 hours for them to run out of power without activating stored energy and about 5 to completely recharge.

Age
Androids are operable for as much as 45 years with proper maintenance. They don't have the developmental period that organic life does, reaching "adulthood" from the moment they are first activated.
Alignment
Humans tend toward no particular alignment. The best and the worst are found among them.
Size
Androids are all designed as 5.5 feet tall, though with attachments they can increase that size. Regardless of attachments they are medium sized beings
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common, Tech (language used to communicate with other machines/computers) and one extra language of your choice. Androids typically learn the languages of other peoples they deal with, including obscure dialects. They are fond of sprinkling their speech with words borrowed from other tongues: Orc curses, Elvish musical expressions, Dwarvish military phrases, and so on.
