Homebrew Valkyrie, From Valhalla Species Details

The Valkyries are the finest warriors and the first line of defense in Valhalla. You are one of these and get to have all the benefits, and detriments, that come along with it. To be a Valkyrie means to accept the role of a fighter who believes deeply in the valor and honor of the battlefield. At the same time, it is to accept your place in the world as what you are. Tending to not be born normally but made, there is not much room for emotion. This may make you take longer to pick up on social cues as well as being very blunt in conversation. Maybe the amount of time on the material plane has taught you more about this, what it means to be alive? That is up to you. 

Ability Score Improvement

You are made to be a perfect warrior. That being said, you are not very good at conversations as others may be.

Strength increases by 2

Constitution increases by 2

Charisma decreases by 1

Age

Valkyries live until they die in battle. You are unaffected by anything that would increase or decrease your age but one day you will return to Valhalla.

Alignment

Valkyries are made to follow orders. Never really evil but always closely tied to being lawful. 

Size

Valkyries don't vary much in size, usually being around 6 feet in height and considered medium in size.

Speed

You have a base walking speed of 30ft

Languages

You can speak read and write Common and Norse. If Norse is not available in your campaign, you can instead choose 1 exotic language. 

Darkvision

Valkyries must be able to fight whether it is day or night. You gain Darkvision up to 30ft.

Golden Wings

Using an action, you can summon your golden feathered wings and gain a flying speed of 40ft. This lasts for 10 minutes or until you dispel them using a bonus action or are knocked unconscious. 

Call of Valhalla

When a party member falls in battle, you can use your reaction to call forth your golden feathered wings and fly 60ft toward the fallen ally in an instant. After you've moved the full 60ft or arrive at the fallen ally, the wings disappear once more.
