Homebrew Alterian Species Details
The Alterians were created by the god Axtohl in a realm completely separate from our own. Due to their vast intelligence and wisdom they are known for having incredible skill over magic and technology. The alterians were originally from a different realm before they fled to ours through unknown means after a calamity destroyed their universe 500 years ago. Alterians are almost completely identical to humans in appearance the only things that separate the two, are the fact that alterians live to 1000 years and the fact that they possess physical capabilities far beyond that of any normal human. Due to their likeness to humans most alterians pose themselves as humans with incredible physical or magical capabilities. Due to the alterians rather unique culture they are natural pacifists and will rarely if ever attack anyone or anything, someone would have to do something very horrible to actually anger an alterian. Also because of their culture they rarely leave home but are known to have an insatiable curiosity once they become comfortable outside their homes.
Alterian Traits
The Alterians possess several unique traits due to their creation by Axtohl.Enhanced Dexterity
The Alterians were endowed with great speed by their creator Axtohl due to his desire to make them the most gifted of any mortal race. The alterians are so fast that even some of the fastest elves would have a hard time keeping up with them. Alterians are fast enough to keep up with a horse and quick enough to dodge an arrow. Suffice it to say catching them is quite difficult. This increases the base dexterity of any alterian by +3.
Enhanced Strength
While an alterians strength is not as impressive as their dexterity it is still quite significate, allowing them to crush wood and crack stone with their bare fists. This adds a +2 strength base.
Enhanced mental capabilities
The Alterians are easily the most intelligent and wise race in the entire world. Their wisdom and knowledge far exceeding even that of the elves, in truth theirs knowledge is only outdone by the gods themselves. +4 to base intelligence and +4 to base wisdom.
Extreme Pacifism
Due to the alterians unique culture violence does not come naturally to any of them. However if any being were to commit heinous or cruel acts in front of an alterian suffice it to say, THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE A VERY BAD TIME. -3 to all damage against non-evil alignment enemies, +3 damage to all evil alignment enemies.
Alterian Culture
For a large majority of the alterians history they were unwilling to leave the safety of their home, the reason for this is actually because there was a titanic barrier that surrounded the entire alterian kingdom that even the most powerful of gods could barely put a dent in. Overtime alterians slowly but surely left their home and began discovering things outside this later led them to have an insatiable curiosity to discover new things once they were comfortable in a new environment. -70% exp at level 1, -50% exp at level 3, -30% exp at level 5, -10% exp at level 7, -0% exp at level 10, +10% exp at level 12, +20% exp at level 15, +30% exp at level 17, +40% exp at level 20.
Alterian Noble
This alterian is a nobleman or women and due to this their connection to the wider kingdom is considered to be greater than a normal alterian. This results in greater abilities but also rather severe mental and spiritual damage from the destruction of the kingdom, it will take sometime for them to heal from the damage.
