Homebrew Warhammer Lizard Man Species Details

Hold Breath, Natural Armor, Sneaky Survivalist, Bite

Hold Breath

Lizardfolk can hold their breath for 15 minutes.

Natural Armor

You have tough scales that repel harm. When you aren't wearing armor, your Armor Class is 13 + your Dexterity modifier. You can use your natural armor to determine your Armor Class if the armor you wear would leave you with a lower Armor Class. A shield's benefits apply as normal while you use your natural armor.

Sneaky Survivalist

You are proficient in both the Stealth and Survival skill.

Bite

Whenever you hit an enemy with a melee attack on your turn, as a bonus action you can make a melee attack against the same enemy. On a hit, the target takes 1d6 + your Strength modifier as piercing damage. You are always considered proficient with this bonus attack.

Lizardfolk Prophet

This member of the village was hand-selected by the being that the village worships(their deity), and was raised by them to one day return home as a prophet - an intermediary between 'deity' and worshipper.

As such, they were blessed by their god with certain attributes not common to Lizardfolk.  This will change dependant to the deity.  For example: If the deity is a dragon, perhaps they would give a rare piece of valuable treasure.

A More Present  Idol.  These Lizardfolk have mostly forsaken the traditional god of Lizardfolk, Semuanya.  They bow instead to a powerful, local 'deity' who they will turn to for important decisions.  Sometimes a Priest will be put in place by this deity as a kind of 'Prophet' to act as intermediary.

More Civilized Than the Others. After a powerful being took a group of Lizardfolk under their careful guidance and leadership, these Lizardfolk advanced as a culture.  They retain the physical and mental attributes of their simpler cousins, but have learned empathy and diplomacy.  They do not excel at these, but are more than willing to attempt it, rather than bowing fully to their instinct and cold-blooded logic.

Dragon Worshipers. Lizardfolk speak Draconic, which they are thought to have learned from dragons in ancient times. A tribe that wanders into the territory of a dragon will offer it tribute to win its favor. An evil dragon might exploit lizardfolk for its own vile ends, turning them into raiders and plunderers.

Canny Crafters. Though they aren’t skilled artisans, lizardfolk craft tools and ornamental jewelry out of the bones of their kills, and they use the hides and shells of dead monsters to create shields.

Lizardfolk Leaders. Lizardfolk respect and fear magic with a religious awe. Lizardfolk Prophets lead their tribes, overseeing rites and ceremonies performed to honor the village deity.
