Homebrew Algamoss Species Details
The Algamoss are a curious kind. Despite their animal instinct and awkward appearance, they are truly sentient. The Algamoss, with their brutally tough fibers, use stones and rocks to form their bodies, allowing for a diverse appearance. They aren't too bright, but can still socialize, adapt and create in order to better live, despite still having wild instincts, as well as a quirky patchwork memory.
Algamoss Traits

Your CON score increases by 1, and your WIS score increases by 1.
Age
The Algamoss age for a very long time, most lasting upto two centuries, or 200 years, of age.
Alignment
The Algamoss are usually a true neutral race, only acting accordingly to instinct.
Size
The size of any Algamoss truly depends on their mass, ranging anywhere from 4 feet is it's a small mass, to 8 feet with a large mass. Despite the variety, the Algamoss are considered a medium size.
Speed
Your Base walking speed is 25 feet.
Language
The language of the Algamoss is one not verbal, but visual. They communicate in a form similar to sign language but is quite native to the Algamoss. Despite this, their signs are easy to decode and are usually translate into basic phrases.
Tangly Fibers
You have naturally wild instinct refined over decades of evolution. You gain proficiency in the Survival skill. You're also able to alter your form by taking any nearby stones and linking them in order to form a body. Once per long rest, you can cast the Alter Self spell using Wisdom as your spellcasting ability.
