Homebrew Arckia Species Details
Dangers of the Arckia
Arckias are strong and charming, using their inherent strength to push ice burgs, and their cuteness to take advantage of their enemy's better judgement.
The melting lifespan.
Arckias gain the intelligence of a child at the age of two and reach maturity around their late twenties, they live a few years less than humans. Due to their lifespan being shorter than a human, they care little for consequences.
Ice statue weight.
The size and weight of Arckias seem to defy logic, they grow to the size of a human child, but can weigh as much as 350 pounds. Their weight mostly comes from their blue ice armor but their body weight is also unexplainable. With weight in such a small body, many surfaces break in a concentrated spot. Base walking speed is 15
You have damage resistant to the cold and weakness to the heat. Cold weather conditions are also incapable of killing you (I.E. freezing to death), but you will die quicker from heat stress.
Arckias are resistant to the cold but weak to heat as they are unfamiliar with the feeling.
Their size and abnormal weight makes them slow runners, unless they're swimming. Their armor breaks off in water and reappears out of water.
Alignment
All Arckias who still live in their original territory are either Neutral-Evil, Lawful-Evil, or any chaotic alignment. It is rare for a native Arckia to be Neutral-Good, or Lawful-Good, as being such, is a losing battle against the hierarchy and their lessons taught over the years. "Kill or be killed".
Arckias that have left the kingdom years ago usually have any neutral alignment, while a few have genuine need to protect beyond their tribe, there are still few good aligned Arckias. They are essentially the goblins of cold regions.
You speak common, and Arckian. Arckian is only used by the Arckias and a few select tribal humans in the winter regions.
Arckia Traits
Your strength score is 1, and your constitution score is 2.Ice gauntlet.
When Arckias get more power they become unstoppable to the common hunter, maybe even soldiers. Legends say the Arckias goddess was displeased with humanity and sank their island to hell where they were left there to face unending torment.
Arckias have tried to mimic this technique but instead brought different results involving their powers of ice.
If you wield any form of dark magic, then at level 20 you can send you and your opponent to hell temporarily. You receive additional constitution from a d20 role and when downed you will be revived back to the mortal realm with 1 health remaining, with movement being your only option on your next turn.
Blue ice armor
The cold regions of the Arckias homeland allow their fur to freeze up and act as sort of a suit of armor, but once they are hit with heat, this feeling is lost. Arckias tend to either panic or become enraged when taken out of their comfort zone, thus, tribal hunters will often light their camps with torches in order to keep Arckias from destroying their homes.
When under cold affects, constitution increases and again if hit by a form of ice magic. Ice will deal less and less damage on every hit. When health drops below 50%, or being hit with fire and failing a constitution save, the ice armor breaks and constitution is lowered by 2, but movement speed is increased by 10
Natural Cutie
When hunting animals wasn't enough they would hunt humans. Using their innocent looking faces to lure people (mostly children) to be eaten by the tribe. While the Arckias themselves aren't
