Homebrew Wolvainian Species Details
Camouflaged in deep snow and thick forest, rarely seen by anyone other than their own kind, preferring to hide and travel among the shadows of night, never leaving any survivors when they attack, Wolvainians are a mystery to the rest of the world. Only those who earn the respect and trust of a Wolvainian ever live to tell of their existence.
Sleek and Mysterious
Elusive to the outside world, Wolvainians are only known through stories of those who were lucky enough to survive an encounter and tell the tale. These wolf-like humanoid creatures, usually standing over 6 feet tall, cast menacing shadows over whomever they come across. Weighing anywhere between 160 to 250 pounds, A Wolvainian's lean and muscular body can be seen regardless of their thick fur and tough skin.
A Wolvainian's fur is most commonly black, white, grey, or a combination of the three. Every now and then a Wolvainian is born with dark brown or red fur, but it is very rare. Many Wolvainians stain key spots of their fur a range of different colours such as royal blue, blood red, or even violet to signify a pack or family they are from. Wolvainians prefer not to wear clothes as their fur already provides them protection from the elements of nature. Wolvainians do, however, wear very strong, durable, and flexible armour they forge themselves. Their armour tends to have the same pack or family colours etched into it, similar to how they stain their fur.
Blood Pact
The better part of all Wolvainians would risk their lives to ensure the safety, security, and protection of their family and pack. Loyalty, respect, and responsibility are among the most important Wolvainian values, Wolvainians detest those who do not follow through with their promises or go back on their word. Never betray or disrespect a Wolvainian, they have great memories and can hold grudges for very long periods of time. Wolvainians will go to extreme measures to exact revenge on those who are stupid enough to provoke, disrespect, or hurt a Wolvainian's pack or family.
Solitude Survivalists
Wolvainians are very proud of their self-sufficient ways, avoiding the outside world has its benefits. By choosing not to be known by the outside world Wolvainians avoid conflicts between other races. There are also disadvantages that come with Wolvainian's choice to live separated from the rest of the word, they end up knowing very little about the other races that populate it and the history that they have written.
