Homebrew Crocodillian Species Details

With fear in their hearts and treasure in hand the bandit gang flee from the swamp nest of a mysterious creature who was hoarding mystical and wondrous items. Whilst trudging through the swamp the bandit leader heard a quick yelp, he turns around and 3 of the 5 have bandits disappeared.

"Who goes there!" the leader yelled at the top of his lungs, the swamp waters ripple as his last member turns to him and says "where is-" before she is swallowed deep into the marshlands.

Heart beating faster and faster the bandit leader casts a darkness spell keeping himself out of site. As he pulls down a pair of magically enchanted goggles, he gains the ability to see through the thick darkness around him. As he is adjusting to the goggles he can't seem to help but notice the water has calmed and the items of his companions are floating through the filthy water, he hears a low guttural growl coming from behind him he turns around with dagger in hand stabbing whatever is behind him.

"Tchk-ting" the dagger snaps off of the torso of the beast. The bandit leaders looks up at a hulking beast with a familiar looking finger dangling from its sinister grin.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           -Jayj E. Crocodillians are well known for their intense and wild fighting style and there amazing defensive capabilities. They were initially hatched from the eggs of a Dragonborn sorcerer who fell in love with the swamp fey "Reptimala." Crocodillians have been forced to stay out of the public eye due to how fierce they are. Although they are not naturally curious creatures, they can be seen traveling the lands in search of something dear to them, because even though they are vicious killing machines, they do have feelings.

The Beast Inside and Out

Crocodillians are the frighting amalgamation of crocodiles and humanoids. Their exterior is made of a earthy green, thick armored skin and their underbelly is a light grey that extends upwards to the lower jaw. They are tall and strongly built,  standing close to 7½ feet tall and weighing 350 pounds or more. Their hands and feet are rough, talonlike claws with 4 fingers and a thumb on each hand, between each toe their is a small amount of webbing. They are most proud of their long snout that they use to smell their prey and rip them to pieces with their teeth. They utilize their powerful tails while swimming but have been found using them as a weapon. With such an amazing battling capability it is extremely rare to find a Crocodillian that has any sort of intelligence or social capabilities. If you do find a Crocodillian that has mastered the arcane arts or has made their way into political power, it is often because they have been disregarded at birth for being weak or useless to the tribe. If you see a Crocadillian wandering the lands away from home it is most likely looking for something or someone who has stolen from them or challenged their strength.

Ferocious Warriors

Known for their beastial fighting style, Crocodillians have been able to destroy their enemies with a combination of their razor sharp claws, jagged vicious teeth and powerful tails. Hunting in the swamp allow these beasts to fully delve into their primal side as they kill their prey and shred any intruder into pieces.

Agile Defenders

With their hulking figures it may seem like they do not have the ability to move quickly, however, you would be wrong. Crocodillians not only travel on land quickly but travel in water at an extreme pace. They use their extreme speed to defend their territory. Not only do they move quickly to defend, but their naturally tough exteriors allow them to take any damaging blows with ease.
