Asherati are people of the desert living in town under the sand they look similar to humans but have a slender physique and don’t have any hair on their body, their eyes look like marbles being smooth and white they typically wear tighter clothing to aid them in sand swimming

Asherati have the ability to make their skin glow as a bonus action which they can control the level of light this light radiates up to 60ft of bright light and can extend to 120ft of dim light the light that comes from the Asherati is orange

Asherati have naturally been adjusted to the harsh conditions of the desert they are resistant to rapid changes in temperature and only need to drink an eighth of what a normal creature would need, additionally while an asherati is standing in sand they gain a plus 10ft to their walking speed

while not wearing medium or heavy armor an Asherati gains a burrow speed equal to your walking speed in loose forms of ground such as sand, ash, and dust (the dm decides if the surface is suitable) they are not able to breathe in the sand and you use normal rules for holding breath
