Homebrew Croxivar Species Details

Another exotic type of Demihuman, native to jungle and swamp like areas. Croxivar tend to be noticeably more aggressive and much more territorial than normal Demihumans. They appear to have the traits and appendages of lizards, alligators, and crocodiles. But oddly enough not to the same degree as lizardfolk. Croxivar are one of the few types of Demihumans that form clans with only 2-3 members. They use their strong jaws, Herculean strength, and heavy tails to demolish trespassers. Their tails aid them in traversing the waters of their homelands. They stand anywhere from 6’3” to 9’4” in height. Croxivar are the largest type of demihuman. Their tails tend to be about 6-7 feet in length.

Croxivar have developed aquatic lungs, allowing them to stay underwater for 2 hours at a time

When attacking with Unarmed Strike, you gain advantage on the attacks.

Devastating Jaws

Your jaws are incredibly strong, and as an action you can use them to make a bite attack, doing 2d6 piercing damage. On a hit, you may choose to grapple the target. 

Crushing Tail

You may use your heavy tail to make a melee attack, dealing 2d8 bludgeoning damage on a hit. 

Shredding Claws

Your large claws act as blades, giving you a +2 bonus to unarmed strikes.

Intimidating Presence

Due to your large size and imposing stature, you have proficiency in intimidation.
