Technical Crusaders
As technology has become more and more mainstream within CyberNova, certain individuals have taken it upon themselves to "upgrade" their physical bodies. Some have simple enhancements such as mental acuity chips, while others have fully mechanical limbs and organs. Cyborgs are the latter. Most current day Cyborgs become so of their own volition, however there are some Cyborgs that were created due to medical issues, such as failing organs or lost limbs. Regardless of the circumstances that lead to the creation of a Cyborg, the technology that they possess is powerful and extremely versatile.
Cyborg Traits
Cyborgs' technical enhancements, while varied, share a common base. These traits are present in Cyborgs.Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common and one additional language of your choice. Commonly the second language of a Cyborg is their original race's language.
Cyborg Enhancements
Cyborgs get one enhancement to one part of their altered bodies. Choose from the enhancements below.
Eagle's Eye
Your eyes have been augmented to see much more clearly. You have advantage on perception checks made with sight. You also have Darkvision within 60 feet of you.
Gorilla's Strength
Your arms have been augmented to more easily lift and grab objects. You have advantage on strength checks made to lift objects larger than you and advantage on grapple checks.
Rabbit's Leap
Your legs have been augmented to give a boost to one's jump distance. You gain a standing jump distance of 15 feet and a long jump distance of 20 feet.
Grizzly's Grit
Your body has been augmented to withstand blows and keep one healthy. You gain resistance to piercing damage from non-magical weapons.
Pre-Enhanced Racial Ability
Although Cyborgs are considered a new race within CyberNova, they still inherit some of their abilities from their original race pre-enhancement. Choose from the list of racial abilities from the various races below. (Note: Not all races have been implemented at the time of making this. Only Human, Elf, Dwarf, Halfling, Tiefling, Orc, and Changeling have been added.)
Age, Alignment, and Size
Age, Alignment, and Size of Cyborgs are based on the original race of the Cyborg. Follow the descriptions given by each race's racial page.
Ability Score Increase
A Cyborg's metal limbs and enhanced mental acuity give them a boost above other races. Your Strength and Intelligence increase by 1.
