Homebrew Android Species Details

Although mechanically young and new to the other races, Androids look and sound like adults of their respective mimicked species. Androids are ready and able to do most labor tasks if commanded to and with some special modifications can also do service and support work.

A Broad Spectrum of Inventory

With various model lines being produced, many different species of androids have been created to mimic the current majority populations. Androids also can be custom made in terms of their appearance and their expertise in certain fields. These custom jobs are a bit more expensive than the base model lines but give major benefits in return. In tandem with android production, lexicon chips and expertise chips have been built as upgrade packages for the base model lines. This allows common customers to customize their androids but with a more sound bank account.

Indiscriminatory Guardians

Regardless of age, sex, race, or physical and mental capability, androids do not discriminate when providing their services. Androids only deduce when to cease communications with a non-master through careful analysis of character. If a person is sensed to be not honest and is an overall shady character, the android will cease communications and contact authorities when necessary.

Exemplars of Obedience

Androids wish for nothing more than to please their master and will go to any length within the parameters of the law and their programming to do so. Most androids are unambitious and only do the bidding of their master to perform tasks.

Android Model Lines and Serial Numbers

 There are currently 6 mainline model lines of androids. These lines are the human, elvish, dwarvish, halfling, tiefling, and orc lines. All of the mainline model serial numbers start with their racial letters and end with the order in which they were built in their line. Any non-mainline models must be custom ordered by clients but any race can be used for creating androids.

Human Model Line (HM Line)

The Human models are manufactured in order of skin tone, beginning with the darkest skin tones and ending with the lightest. Height parameters are set at 5'10" and as such are Medium size. There are up to 999 models made in each individual line of Humans and there are currently 50 Human model lines that have been manufactured thus far, 25 for each Sex, the first 25 being male Human lines.

Human Model Line Names: 

Examples: HM-001-1, HM-547-11, HM-612-50, etc.

Elvish Model Line (EV Line)

The Elvish Model Line is exclusively comprised of Wood Elves and Dark Elves and is set at one skin tone for each subrace model (Tan and Charcoal). Height parameters are set at 6'0" and as such are Medium size. There are up to 999 models made in each individual line of Elves and there are currently 60 Elvish model lines that have been manufactured thus far, 30 for each subrace and within those 30, 15 for each sex. The first 15 lines are male Wood Elf lines, the second 15 female Wood Elf lines, and the other 30 are similarly structured for the Dark Elf lines.

Elvish Model Line Names:

Examples: EV-001-1, EV-239-16, EV-341-34, EV-222-60, etc.

Dwarvish Model Line (DV Line)

The Dwarvish models are manufactured with only one skin tone, a light brown earthy tone. Height parameters are set at 4'6" and as such are Medium size. There are up to 999 models made in each individual line of Dwarves and there are currently 20 Dwarvish model lines that have been manufactured thus far, 10 for each sex starting with male Dwarves.

Dwarvish Model Line Names:

Examples: DV-001-1, DV-022-5, DV-999-20, etc.

Halfling Model Line (HL Line)

The Halfling models are manufactured with one skin tone, a light tan color. Height parameters are set at 3'0" and as such are Small size. There are up to 999 models made in each individual line of Halflings and there are currently 50 Halfling model lines that have been manufactured thus far, 25 for each sex starting with male Halflings.

Halfling Model Line Names:

Examples: HL-001-1, HL-133-22, HL-799-50, etc.

Tiefling Model Line (TL Line)

The Tiefling models are manufactured with one skin tone, a maroon color. Height parameters are set at 5'10" and as such are Medium size. There are up to 999 models made in each individual line of Tieflings and there are currently 50 Tiefling model lines that have been manufactured thus far, 25 for each sex starting with male Tieflings.

Tiefling Model Line Names:

Examples: TL-001-1, TL-654-3, TL-862-50, etc.

Orcish Model Line (OC Line)

The Orcish models are manufactured with one skin tone, a forest green color. Height parameters are set at 6'6" and as such are Medium size. There are up to 999 models made in each individual line of Orcs and there are currently 50 Orcish model lines that have been manufactured thus far, 25 for each sex starting with male Orcs.

Orcish Model Line Names:

Examples: OC-001-1, OC-438-22, OC-690-50, etc.

Android Traits

As androids are programmed to the tee, these traits are present in all models.

Skill Proficiencies and Bonuses

You have skill proficiency in Arcana. Your mechanical eyes allow you to see in dark spaces giving you Darkvision. The electricity that flows through your mechanical body allows you to more readily take electric damage giving you a resistance to lightning.

Perfect Memory

Due to your robotic nature, your memory banks allow you to recall information nearly perfectly. You have the Keen Mind feat.

Ability Score Increase

 Your Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, and Wisdom Increase by 1. Your Intelligence increases by 2.

Age

Most androids are built as functioning adults but can be custom made at various ages. The electronics of an android can last up to two centuries if properly maintained.

Alignment

 Androids are built with specific parameters that must be followed, causing them to be either Lawful Good or Lawful Neutral. Androids that have broken these parameters, however, can be any kind of alignment.

Size

Android models vary in size due to various racial models being made. Follow the size descriptions for the races being modeled.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 35 feet.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common and Elvish. Androids typically are purchased by humans and high elves and because of this, programmers have felt it necessary to provide these lexicon chips for all models.
