Homebrew Two-Headed Ogre Species Details
The early ogres' practice of sorcery and exposure to raw arcane magic had some unexpected side effects. Very rarely, children would be born with two heads. It soon became clear that these two-headed ogres were exceptional spellcasters, and their appearance was seen as a good omen. In time, arcanists even developed spells to replicate this phenomenon, causing normal ogres to grow a second head and increasing their intelligence and magical aptitude.
Two-Headed Ogre Traits
Your ogre character has the following racial traits. Two Heads
You have a second head, which you treat as a brother. It is a separate ogre character controlled by another player, living in the same body as you.
• Your brother controls one arm and one leg, while you control the opposites. You share use of your torso evenly.
• Each head has its own Intellect, Wisdom, and Charisma, but you share Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution with your brother.
• When you gain a spell or class feature, you must declare which head owns it. The feature's owner must use his half to utilize it, for requirements such as somatic or line-of-sight.
• You share a turn and actions with your brother. If your action would require the use of your brother's limbs, you may cooperate as a free action. You must agree on attacks, spell casting, and movement, or you fall prone, struggling against your own body. I hear rock-paper-scissors is preferable to falling on your faces. You can freely talk and gesture without your brother's approval.
• If a condition is applied to you, flip a coin. If you get heads, and your brother gets tails, then the condition is only applied to his half. Otherwise, you both suffer the condition.
• Only one sibling must eat, drink, breathe, or sleep at a time.

Posted Sep 26, 2018Planning on adding a variant that treats each head as a separate character with its own class and background. I'll get around to it eventually.
