Homebrew Xolith Species Details

The Xolith were made by Yneus, the maker before he vanished. He does appear to have a connection to them however as the Xolith chisel stones for which they pray Yneus will embed a soul. Xolith are nothing more than sentient animate rocks... which do have telikinetic abilities and telepathy that holds the tribe together. Most Xolith stay close to the tribe but some do ponder what the rest of the world is like and leave the tribe. Xolith also have a tendency to "tattoo" each other by chiseling the rocks that make up their bodies.

Telepathic Commune

Due to being animate rocks they dont have voices of their own, but can however speak telepathically to others. You can communicate up to 60 ft telepathically with any creature. If the creature you are trying to communicate to doesnt speak the language they have to make a DC12 WIS saving throw. On a successful save, the creature learns how to speak the language forever. On a failed save the creature take 1d10 psychic damage. You cannot talk without using Telepathic Commune

Slight Telekenises

Adult Xolith can use their telekenisis, other than maintaining their humanoid-like rock body. Your telekenisis makes it so you can cast the Mage Hand cantrip 

Rock Structure

Your rock structure makes your life different compared to other races. You are immune to disease and poison damage and the poisoned condition. You are also resistant to slashing damage. As you age you rock body begins to crack from weathering but parts of it can be replaced on a long rest, your soul vessel (usually the head of the body) however cannot be recovered and if it breaks your sou escapes and you die.
