Homebrew Chiwarra Species Details
Chiwarra, are half antelopes, half humans from Chult, some people say they look like tieflings. They attribute their origin from the union of the Chultan sky goddess Mousso Koroni and an earth spirit in the shape of a serpent. They are traditionally farmers and also cattle herders. Chiwarras prize their freedom and deeply love their environment. Their main philosophical precept is the “Umbumwe” which can be explained as the balance between wilderness and domestication and harmony among things in general. They don’t see themselves above nature and spirits but as equal parts of it. This symbolized with the cow and the buffalo statue facing one another. One is domesticated the other wild but both are needed.
