Homebrew Bearfolk Species Details

Bearfolk are not quite the cuddly companion you might think they are.  Strong in the wild with an intense sense of smell and ability to survive in the wilderness.  Although rare in common cities they exist in pockets throughout the world.  A bit of the wild still exist in them and makes them more savage than your average adventurer.

Bearfolk Traits

The traits of wild bears are not completely lost with the Bearfolk. Climbing, the ability to eat almost anything, and huge bursts of speed give these adventurers dangerous foes.

The Bearfolk can smell so much better than their human counterparts that using this sense during a check action gives them a distinct advantage.

Strong Build

The sheer size of Bearfolk allows them to carry the same weight as a creature 1 size bigger than them

Wild Speed

The wild speed gives the a player the ability to close a distance in combat in a flash.

Bearfolk culture is aggressive and fights are not uncommon taking damage the right way is just second nature.
