Homebrew Adara Species Details
Adara is the unlikely mix between a Tiefling and an Aasimar - and are not well-known in Chansika.
Aasimar is not a widespread race in Chansika, and Tiefling is generally seen as a messenger of evil. Therefore, it is fortunate that the cross between the two, blurs the signs of the parents origin - however, they are not removed but blurred, this makes it easier for the individual Adara to blend into the community.
They go through life with conflict in their innermost being, and many move in the direction of a chaotic view of life - while the supernatural sensations struggle to take over the poor Adara.
Adara Traits
Aradas share certain racial traits with their parents - the Tiefling and the Aasimar.Ability Score
Your Costitution score increases by 1, your Charisma score increases by 2 and your Wisdom score decreases by 1.
Age
Adaras mature at the same rate as humans but live to be around 150.
Alignment
The alignment of an Adara is often caotic.
Size
Adaras are about the same size and build as humans. Your size is Medium.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision
You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Resistance
You have resistance to Necrotic and Radiant damage.
Legacy of Light and Darkness
You know the thaumaturgy and light cantrip. You can cast the hellish rebuke spell or lesser restoration spell as a 2nd-level spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common, Celestial and Infernal.
