Homebrew Doggo Species Details
Doggos are a race of much variety. They can be any breed, but all share canine features. Doggos usually reside in small villages. They often form groups or "packs" with one another, and each member serves a purpose. Whether it be a leader, a blacksmith, a hunter, etc. Despite this, or maybe perhaps because of this, Doggos are actually quite flexible when it comes to their studies or work. Unlike other races, such as Tabaxi, Doggos do not have that innate wanderlust built into them. While they can be curious they believe in the purpose of their job, and no job is too small.
That isn't to say that Doggos do not make good adventurers. On the contrary, their often stockier build makes them much tougher than others. They are also very alert with their surroundings, and make excellent trackers.
However it is uncertain and argued about by scholars where Doggos come from, and some believe they are related to Lycans. This can lead many to distrust their kind. While most Doggos do worship Selune, the moon goddes that most Lycans worship too, Doggos will deny any such connections. Most Doggos do not want to be associated with the uncivilized werewolf, but there are a select few that feel empathetic to their kindred werewolf "brothers".
Either way Doggos have a small society. Like Humans they are a melting pot of different cultures, and can easily adapt to their environment. This gives them a natural charm and makes them easy to mingle with. It is very hard for anyone to hate a good Doggo.
