Homebrew Cambion Species Details

Cambions are the offspring of a fiend and another humanoid. As most fiends are notably unappealing to a vast majority of humanoid races, cambions are exclusively the result of an incubus or succubus. Because most succubus would rather not carry a child, a mjority of cambions are born to human mothers, however it is not unheard of for a succubus for one reason or another to choose to bear child, and usually when they do its because they wish to further torture their partner by gifting them the child upon its birth. Because of the challenges involved with raising a half-fiend child, many parents abandon their fiendish offspring or kill them outright, which in turn drags their souls closer to evil and being claimed by the lower plains.

They have similar impulses to their fiendish parents and seek out and corrupt innocence and born with an innate sense of superiority over their mortal fellows that makes them problematic to raise.

Darkvision

You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as it it were dim light. You can't discern colour in darkness, only shades of grey.

Infernal Legacy

You know either Firebolt or Friends cantrip. When you reach level 3, you can cast the command spell as a 1st level spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest.

When you reach 5th level, you can cast the Alter Self spell as a 2nd level spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest.

Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
