Homebrew Drow (Half Banshee) Species Details

The drow ive on the continent of Xen'drik. They are dark-skinned and have white hair. They believe that they truly preserve the dignity and valor of the elf race, and not the elves that went to Aerenal. They created an alliance with huge scorpions to attack their fallen masters. They are the most civilized people on Xen'drik, which many drow believe gives them right to the ruins of the giants, and the spellcrafts that giants learned from the dragons. They live in the ancient ruins with vaults of magical treasures. The main cultural group of Drow are worshipers of Vulkoor. The Sulatar and Umbragen are significant cultural groups as well. There are many other subgroups of drow, but, as the continent of Xen'drik is only partly explored, most cultural groups of drow have yet to be encountered.

Drow (Half Banshee) Traits

+2 Dexterity, Darkvision, Keen Senses, Fey Ancestry, Trance

Floating

Due the your banshee lineage you glide a few inches off the ground not leaving foot prints or making noise when walking

Fear Boner

Due to their alluring magical aura, drow half banshees can gain advantage in charisma checks and arcana

Banshee's Wail

Once she reaches level 5, The half banshee is mature enough to use her voice to make an attack in the same way other banshee do. this attack takes the form of a mournful wail. This wail has no effect on constructs and undead. All other creatures within 30 feet of her that can hear her must make a DC 13 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, a creature takes 3d6 psychic damage half as much on a save . the half banshee can use this attack ability once per long rest.

Spectral Resisitance

At level 1 Half banshee have resistance of Cold, Necrotic. At level 10 they gain advantage on saving throws against these types of damage. This morphs into full immunity to these damage types at level 15

Ability Score Increase

Your dexterity goes up by 2 and your Intelligence by 1. Another ability of your choice is also increased by 1

Size

Elves range from under 5 to over 6 feet tall and have slender builds. Your size is Medium.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Darkvision

Accustomed to twilit forests and the night sky, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light.

Keen Senses

You have proficiency in perception.

Fey Ancestry

You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.

Trance

Elves don’t need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. (The Common word for such meditation is “trance.”) While meditating, you can dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive through years of practice. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common and Elvish. Elvish is fluid, with subtle intonations and intricate grammar. Elven literature is rich and varied, and their songs and poems are famous among other races. Many bards learn their language so they can add Elvish ballads to their repertoires.
