Homebrew Clockmon Species Details

The Clockmon Race

Clockmon are a Digimon, hailing for the Digital world. Clockmon generally strive to be a neutral party between the Vaccine and Virus type digimon. Some Clockmon have been know to hold the power to control time, able to jump between set points in time, however this is a thing only the most powerful clockmon have mastered and thus not generally available to the normal Clockmon. Clockmon have been known to be great mediators, preferring to  solve conflicts non-violently as possible, but able to bring down a frightening strength when needed, and are often called Peace-keepers  while in the digital world, though some Clockmon have started leaning on the side of good or evil and stopped taking a stance of true neutrality.
Being a mechanical digimon, clockmon have always been good at repairing things, having had to learn how to do so to maintain their own bodies, and most will repair other machines and machine type digimon if they see that it is needed, usually for free. However if you've ever gotten on their bad side, They are also known to hold a grudge lasting as long as decades.
Some clockmon have been known to Have affinities for Lightning and Fire, becoming magic users who use those elements more specifically, while other Clockmon choose to use a long mallet to pummel enemies when need for violence arises. No matter if they use magic or a weapon, Clockmon are known to be formidable foes, showing a persistence in battle that no organic creatures can match.
Clockmon, being a half clock, are generally always good at telling the time even when in dungeons and places where others would normally not be able to tell time. Though if not properly maintained, their clock will not tell the right time, making them less reliable for telling time.
The humanoid half of a clockmon are in fact just humanoid puppets that are one with the clockmon, and though some people mistake them as a separate entity controlling the clock-half, The clock half actually is in control.

Data made real

Clockmon in the world of (insert DnD setting here) are a result of Data from the Digital world somehow manifesting into the "real" world. In Most cases Clockmon are travelers from other worlds where there is a technology level that has digital data exchanges, such as internet, that have somehow gotten lost in time and "space" and found themselves in their current environment. Clockmon always have a lower half that looks like a mechanized Alarm clock, and always have a winding key in their humanoid half.
Although they are made from data, Clockmon are considered living humanoids. Resting, healing magic, and the Medicine skill all provide the same benefits to Clockmon that they do to other humanoids.

Clockmon Personality

Clockmon are generally known to be patient with others, and try to mediate between different parties, staying Neutral in their stance. However it is known that some Clockmon have become evil and manipulated others, while other clockmon have become Good and helped others more directly than mediating, choosing to punish evil-dooers. It is rare for a clockmon to be chaotic, tending to be more lawful or at worst neutral, however some Clockmon have been know to be chaotic due to an error in their data before becoming physical beings.
