Homebrew Kitsune Species Details
The kitsune are held in very high regard amongst certain peoples and cultures. They are creatures with the ability to turn into a fox or human form. As kitsunes grow in age and wisdom, they grow more tails, being able to have as many as nine, and these older and wiser kitsunes are held in the highest regard of all within the aforementioned cultures.
Kitsune Traits
Being natural charmers and used to the natural forests of their homelands, Kitsune are masters of stealth and conversation.Ability Score Increase
Your Charisma score increases by 2, and your Dexterity score increases by 1.
Skill Proficiency
You are proficient in both Stealth and Perception.
Darkvision
Accustomed to the dim light in the forests your homeland, you have superior vision in dark and dim Conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in Darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in Darkness, only Shades of Gray.
Fox's Claws
Because of your claws, you have a climbing speed of 20 feet. In addition, your claws are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal slashing damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
Fox Form
Once per day, you can turn into a fox for 1 hour, keeping all your mental stats and racial skill proficiencies.
Innate Spellcasting
Once per long rest, you can cast the Suggestion spell at its base level.
Fleet of Foot
Your base walking speed increases to 35 feet.
Languages
You can speak Common, Sylvan and one other language of your choice..
