They are their own person with different personalities than the soul they live within, when a wolf transforms their inner wolf is all powerful, you can hear their voices in your own head and can talk to them without anyone else hearing them. When in the dream plane you can see your inner wolf face to face though they do not have a human form they look like your wolf form, however when you see them like that you are normal drawn to them and feel safe.
