Homebrew Angelus Libre Species Details

The Angelus Libre, or 'Angels' as we categorized them in the Sol system, were a once proud race of winged Psionic-potent people. Originally met in the year of 2247. The first encounter with them seemed harmless enough, as they came as peaceful ambassadors and helped Humanity further it's Psion Tech.  This helped propel Humanity further into the cosmos, but soon exploratory vessels were vanishing. By the time of The Incursion, humanity had made good weapons for fighting itself, but it's armies of Psychics were not trained to handle their powers in a battlefield environment. At first the Angelus were winning, until better training for Psychics came about.

 It would not be found until they were wiped off the face of the universal map that they were being controlled by Antiqua Spatio. Once evidence of this was discovered, they were publicly shamed by both the Technographers and United Earth Federation in the year 2419, and the Galactic council decided to ban them to their own star system, due to their violent and domineering tendencies. Since then, the Technographers with the help of their most powerful AI, Opus, have been trying to resurrect the dead races of long  lost decades. With the help of a few other races, the Technographers were substantial progress, and they even managed to make one that lived for more than ten minutes. Then the Psychic Scream happened.

With that, the Technographers  began shutting themselves off from the rest of the Galactic council, hence finding it much harder to bring back another Angelus. So the project laid dormant for many centuries until fate intervened. Eventually a team of scientists who had helped theorize the Lazarus Project came forward to the 12 Noble Houses, asking to restart the project. Little is known on how their progress is going so far.

Age

Aarakocra reach maturity by age 3. Compared to humans, aarakocra don’t usually live longer than 30 years.

Size

Most Angelus are record at having been anywhere form 6 feet to 8 feet tall.Due to their wings, they often weigh anywhere between 150 and 250 pounds. Your size is Medium.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 25 feet due to air resistance against the wings of the Angelus.

Flight

You have a flying speed of 50 Feet per 6 seconds. Wearing mediumarmor or having a shield equipped will reduce this down to 30 feet per 6 seconds, and Heavy Armor/ Powered Armor is too cumbersome for flight.

You can speak, read, and write Common, Primordial,  and Angelian.
