An ancient race of human whose lineage can be traced back to the first warriors, kings, and soldiers of old. With an unnaturally superior and unmatched physical makeup these deadly fighters are masters of the blade. Their obsession driving them to great lengths, on great adventures, and to great callings, these masters are few and far between with most on a never ending quest to perfection. From their grip, to their swing, to the way they move, the blade calls to these rare existences to wield and conquer for the sake of perfecting their skill and craft. An unparalleled adaptability and on the fly thinking makes them dangerous foes, and the greatest of scholars can even cut at range if their power and skills are up to par.
If ever you come across a blade scholar in training step lightly, enemies are naught but test dummies and whetstones, but if you come across two blade scholars then race with heavy foot, for all on their battlefield are destined casualties.

Age
Blade Scholars aren't your average human, their bodies staying fit seemingly no matter what they do throughout their entire lives gives them an unnatural lifespan almost as if they were elves. They grow normally like an average human until they hit their prime years of 20 to 30 which for them can span 100 to 200 years depending on how well they maintain themselves and their drive to perfect their blade skills. Afterwards they will age around another 70 to 90 years all the while their skills continuously being honed,
Alignment
Blade Scholars are all heavily Chaotic Neutral, everything they say, everywhere they go, everything they do, is all for the blade. 2 may find themselves on either side of a long war between kingdoms doing anything and everything in their power to face each other in battle...both kingdoms will fall to satiate their lust.
Size
Blade Scholars consistently keep around 7.5ft. and between 200 and 300lbs. Normally being taller and heavier than your average human not only makes them easily distinguishable, but also a good target for requests that often require a blade, and rarely don't. Your size is Medium.

Often testing their strength against the odds Blade Scholars choose to parry rather than block. You gain advantage on Strength saving throws against physical attacks. Or for the more theatrical you gain advantage on Acrobatics saving throws against all attacks and dodgeable magic. As for the more keen and observant? they gain an advantage on Perception ability checks.
