Homebrew Dracokin Species Details

We were born for one purpose, to slay elder dragons, once that purpose has completed we will cease our reason for existing, and become pitiful...

           — Drakon d. Elwhich, 1st Dracokin

Created as a hybrid of humanoids and elder dragons, they lived their life for the purpose of hunting and destroying the most powerful of all dragons in the land, with the final goal to end the life of the Dragon god Tiamat.

Appearance

They are humanoid in nature, those features mimic which ever humanoid was used as a base for that being. Their hands and feet are scaled and clawed, the feet representing more talons of a great lizard. Their size at largest is that of a small teenager. They have wings on their back large enough to support the weight of their bodies, and to fly at a speed that could keep up with them walking. Their heads ad-done horns similar to a gazelle. They do not have a tail.

The blood of a particular type of dragon runs very strong through them. These hands and feet often boast scales that more closely match those of the dragon they are based on—bright red, green, blue, or white, lustrous black, or gleaming metallic gold, silver, brass, copper, or bronze.

Lifestyle

Dracokin often prefer to live alone or within small groups, often among people of other species, as to feel superior to them. They prefer to complete difficult tasks, and may shirk the responsibilities of anything they could consider menial or pointless.
