Homebrew Devouten Species Details

Devouten originally were a mix of elves and humans who fled from the world into seclusion to avoid unholy influences and to focus on their faith. Due to their similar appearance to elves and men through centuries of interbreeding it is easy to mistake a Devouten for a Half-elf, as such Devouten have often ventured into the world under the guise of a commoner or priest, often to observe the outside world or to pursue some personal crusades.

Devouten are well practiced in Religious affairs and find most matters of ceremony easy to perform. Through their affiliation with divine powers they have been known to help other in times of need and are well versed in guidance and support.

Adherent to Celestial power, most Devouten are good. Even outcasts are more than likely no less than Neutral.
