Homebrew Cervitaur Species Details

Like the centaur, they have a upper body of a human but  with a lower body of a deer instead of a horse. They are often feisty so they can survive. Cervitaurs are fast and are 4-6 feet tall. Cervitaurs are a type of fey.  Most of them live in groups in the forest and meadows, while those who were exiled or chose to leave live in villages or somewhere else. These communities/groups of cervitaur are really strict with their rules and are very judgy. If you were a certain way or associated with someone or something they don't like, you either won't be accepted or exiled. They value beauty, honor, respect, and strength. Cevitaurs are expected to follow certain stereotypes depending on your gender, class, and age. These communities/groups are obviously toxic, so those who are exiled or rejected are usually kinder than the others (but this isn't the case all the time, of course.).

Your walking speed is 40. Your running speed is 50.

Society:

Cervitaur communities/groups are not too accepting of things. Being or acting a certain way can and ruin you and your family's name. Being a part of a honorable and respectable family is a need. Arranged marriages are very common, one may have wealth, and the other may have a honorable name in their family. Another important thing to have is beauty and talent. This would heavily affect how other cervitaurs treat you. Having good looks, along with a talent, makes someone a more 'valuable' person. A occurrence that often happens during exile trails, the family of the one on trail turns their back on them. Usually supporting the idea of exiling them.

Acting or being a certain way can either result in you being seen as a lesser being or exiled. The consequence depends on your family's current status. If your family is wealthy or very honorable, it'll just damage the reputation of your name. Other's in the community may laugh at you, talk about you, or be rude towards you in general if this is the case. However, if your family is just known for their beauty or natural talent, they most likely will exile you. Or at the very least, mistreat you.

Breaking a law in their communities results in either a execution or exile if the crime was minor and/or your lucky. Due to the fear that the councils cause, crimes are rare.

Other creatures and beings view and think of cervitaurs as snobby, strict, narcissists.

Cervitaur Traits

Ears, antlers, short fur, youthful apperance.

Ability Score Increase

Cervitaurs are known to be charming and beautiful creatures. This gives you a advantage in persuading people.

Rideable

You can allow creatures to mount as long as they are small-medium in size. Depending on how strong you are, you can carry a creature for 40 minutes to a hour and 30 minutes. However, the longer you carry them, the slower you get every 20 minutes (-10 walking/running speed every 20 minutes).

Sensitive

All your five senses are super strong. You are just very sensitive to everything. This is an advantage and disadvantage. You are able to see light and smell stuff that are 30-45 feet away, and hear stuff that are 30 feet away.  However, all of these have a major downside. Your sensitive hearing could lead to temporary deafness if noises are loud enough. If something is too bright, or something flashbangs you, it can cause temporary blindness. Your skin is very sensitive, which makes you itch frequently (this can distract you). Taste doesn't really do much though, it just makes your mood a little sour (get it?).

Kick

Your hooves are natural weapons. Your kicks are super strong.
