Homebrew Brimstone Elf Species Details
The Brimstone Elves decent from a heritage that is shadowed in confusion and rumors, there for a lot of their racial trates have interesting abilities and unique outcomes. The exact pin point location of where this race was first sighted from are unknown, but through out the years some have been seen wondering with keen eyes through the kingdom of Pithall, taking in the moutain views of Jasabell, or even trekking across the sandy plains of Kalladin. No matter where they are, they are always met with curious eyes, as some havent even heard of their kind before. The name Brimstone Elf was coined by the people of Clowden to describe this rare breed of elf, as usally these beings skins were dark in shade and had a slight rock like apperance to it, that and their small horns that seem to petrude from their foreheads, gave these beings a more hellish look. Even with such a odd and sometimes threatning apperance, these beings often didnt bring any harm to the people of Clowden, but instead were just curious to know more about the lands. The only accounts of hostile acts being performed by these elves, where when they had to defend themsevles against foes that didnt accept their presence on their land, and thus would become hostile. Other than that these beings are very discrete, they dont seem to take up residence in any major cities or settlements, and also seem to be in town one day then gone the next, they tend to keep a very low profile as they explore the land.

Age
Although elves reach physical maturity at about the same age as humans, the elven understanding of adulthood goes beyond physical growth to encompass worldly experience. An elf typically claims adulthood and an adult name around the age of 100 and can live to be 750 years old.
Alignment
Brimstone Elves seem to have their own ideals, and thus can often not allign well with that of many kingdoms, even still they would often fall more in like to Lawful Netural.
Size
Brimstone Elves range from under 5 to over 6 feet tall and have slender builds. Your size is Medium.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision
The wondering eyes have seen the darkest of caves and the brightest of peaks, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Curious Eyes
You have proficiency in the Perception and [skill]Investigation[skill] skill.
Draconic Ancestry
You have advantage on saving throws against being [/condition]charmed[/condition], and magic can’t put you to sleep. Also due to your burnt complexion, you have resistance to fire damage.
Trance
Brimstone elves don’t need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. (The Common word for such meditation is “trance.”) While meditating, you can dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive through years of practice. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common and Elvish. Elvish is fluid, with subtle intonations and intricate grammar. Elven literature is rich and varied, and their songs and poems are famous among other races. Many bards learn their language so they can add Elvish ballads to their repertoires.
