Homebrew Assuka Species Details

Assuka are a relatively nomadic people who keep to themselves, while personable they are not incredibly social, preferring to keep to themselves and trade with others at a minimum. They live in a rocky region with uneven ground with ankle twisting bumps and dips. Similar to Humans as that is their origin they are not disliked but not close to other races either, including humans. Assuka prefer to use their wing or a minor spell for locomotion as their legs are comparatively weak, they often have a stronger upper body and have faster reflexes but are not that different from humans. On average they are taller and heavier than humans and are largely considered "large" creature due to their massive wings that support them. while flying Assuka must be in constant movement or they will fall. Their wing are capable of carrying up to 10 times their weight on average but can be trained to carry more.

Your constitution equals whatever you have -2 and you add +1 to strength and +2 to Dexterity

Age

Assuka reach adulthood in their late teens and live a little more than a century in general.

Alignment

 Assuka tend toward no particular alignment. The best and the worst are found among them.

Size

Assuka are generally a little taller than humans ranging from a minimum of 5'5'' up to 7 feet. While their body size is comparable to humans their wings are extremely large. In short Assuka is considered large.

Speed

Assukas' base walking speed is 15 feet. Assuka can fly at speeds up to 150 feet in normal circumstances and can levitate at speeds up to 20 feet a second. 

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common and one extra language of your choice. Humans typically learn the languages of other peoples they deal with, including obscure dialects. They are fond of sprinkling their speech with words borrowed from other tongues: Orc curses, Elvish musical expressions, Dwarvish military phrases, and so on.
