Homebrew Draconic Species Details

  After the great betrayl of the Dragon that shatered the wall between mortal realm and The Real of Souls, they absorved the power that leaked for the realm of souls, in difiance to the Gods them selfs. At the same time the new holes in the in Wall gave lessear races the ability to also use magic, fearing na upraising of the lessear races, they started hunting and enslaving them. The gods took these oportunity to guide the other races in order to punish the fool Dragons, they use there new found influence on the mortal realm to influence the Elfs, the humans, and the dwarfes, teatching them how to use magic and build weapons and form a society.

   The Dwarfes built there citys in mountain, protecting them selfs in caves and stone structures, the Elfs were hidden from the Dragons by living in big and dense forest, and the humans lived has nomads, always running from the dragons and gathering different materials in the hopes of protecting them selfs.

  At the beginning the dragons were to powerfull for any other race to even stand a change against those powerfull beasts, but after a great dragon succesion civil war that split the dragon society in two kindoms, the lessear races were able to built citys amidst the war. When the dust of the civil war finaly settled, the lessear races begun there upraising, joining forces to overthrow the Dragons and save there enslaved people.

  When the fear of losing the war started creeping the mind of the Dragons they started looking for ways in witch they could disguise them selfs, but a mortal body could not contain the powers of a Dragon, and illusion magic was far to easy to detect, so they started experimenting on human and elf slaves, in the hopes that they could creat a more suitable body to hide, and once the second Draogn kindom was taken over by the lesser races the result of the experiments were revealed, a race of half human elf and half Dragon, the mortal races consider them as abominations and weapons of the enemy so they hunted them down. Eventual the few that escaped made there home on the Molten Island.

  After some generations the fear of the Draconics by the other races of something of the past, almost has they have never existed. Meanwhile the Draconics build a great society in that island, they did not care for what happen in the past, now focosing on improvement and living a normal and honorable life, but some of them could not forget the discrimination and persecution there people suffered during the past, they thoght of them selfs has the next “Dragons” who would conquer the land and take revenge on the other unworthy races. They started using dark magic, and participating in unholly rituals in other to gain power. For there crimes they were exiled, and settled in a neighboring island, how they could survive in such dry and dark lands remain a mistery that only they may know the answer. With time the use fo dark magic turned there skin dark.

  Some of the Volcanic in search for greater understanding started leaving the island and going on a pilgrimage, that heated the hatred of the Draconics, but with time and smoth language they started increasing race relationship, and built a settlement where Draconics could come and rest in there travels, over time the city grew in size and knowledge, races from across the continent were traveling to the city in the hopes that the city contained what they were looking for, the end result was a great blue city filed big towers full of books and artifacts to be learned an experimented with.
