Homebrew Beetle Species Details

A beetle is hatched from an egg and comes from a single queen of their colony like that of any other insect life. They spend most of their young life underground in their colony as they hone their skills and harden their exoskeleton. They are very much based on community and family always thinking in terms of what is better for the colony. While rare there are some that are born with a sense of self and adventure and they feel the need to leave the colony. They are often deemed as scouts that record information of the outside world and near the end of their life they return so that their adventures and experiences can be told in the colony. While they have a great sense of self they are often happy in groups creating alternate colonies in their mindsets.
