Homebrew Dirksen Species Details

Dirksen's were originally the most powerful curses that could be cast against a creature. However, there was a rebellion in the astral world - the place of origin of magical energies - and these curses created awareness and passed through a veil that separates the worlds, an event that became known as "The amendment". After transmitting their energies to create physical bodies, the curses lost most of their strength. Now the "Dirksen" curses roam the world, each seeking the purpose for having left the astral world.

Dirksen's does not have a defined appearance. They can have bodies identical to humans or they can be terrifying creatures that live in the depths of the ocean.

Choose any ability score to have +2 and one to - 1

Thirst of blood

Your blood bubbles,
It causes the need to eat fresh meat and perform a ritual to the ancients. The ritual causes you stress and damage.
You suffer 1d4 more when you take damage and eat double the ration each day.

When night comes you need to do a stress test against insanity.
Failing this test causes a temporary berserk until dawn.
