Homebrew Corgi Species Details

Corgis commonly have orange fur with white stripes and spots, but some rare corgis have a tricolor fur pallet with browns, greys, and whites. They are usually 2-4 feet tall standing on their back legs, and 1 foot when on all fours.

Corgis normally have short names, I'll provide a few below:

-Lando, Korg, Coco, Waffle, Gem, Max, Ciel, Gatsby, Ey, and many more! Some of these are based on real-life Corgis I own or know!

Corgis generally have short lifespans, they live for 20-24 years on average and reach adulthood at the age of 2. They are also naturally kind creatures, with a usual alignment of lawful good-chaotic good axis. Don't let that stop you though from creating the ruffest and toughest Corg out there! The dogs have a keen sense of smell and have an advantage on any Perception (Wisdom) Checks with smell. Corgis speak Common and Corgi(ish); that language can be used by DM's permission or planning!

With languages, you can speak with any dog or dog-like creature, as long as they aren't extremely hostile, I'm using this in the same way as Speak/Communicate With Animals would work. With attacks, you can use any simple weapons and even duel-wield!

I recommend only using smaller items and weapons, as your little Corg has only small paws with tiny fingers. You can also Bite, which deals 1d6 piercing damage, and the best part is that you will never be unequipped. Last thing, the Corgis come from a dog ancestral line, so they can use Pact Tactics. That means that you have an advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one or more of your allies is within 5 feet of you. Just make sure that that creature or your ally isn't incapacitated!

Have fun playing the Corgi! :)
