Homebrew Concolor Centaur Species Details
Desert’s Apex Hunter: Concolor Centaurs have the upper bodies, down to the waist, of muscular humans, displaying all the human variety of skin tones and features. Their jaws and cheekbones are sharper than those of regular humans. Below the waist they have the body of a Puma, with a small range of coloration and patterns on their fur, most of them have black fur however albino varieties do exist and are seen as gifted individuals from birth with their stunning white coloration, their patterns might vary depending on the tribe from which they hail from, some of them have might have tiger stripes, ocelot circles or cheetah dots. Most Concolor Centaurs have long hair by default however some tribes might force their members to shave or cut their hair in a certain manner for religious reasons.
Affinity for travel: Concolor Centaurs love to travel and explore new areas, sometimes without a real goal in mind and are always surprised and rejoiced by the discovery of ruins lost to time or simply finding an oasis where they might stay for a couple of weeks, before starting an expedition once again. It is pretty rare for a Concolor tribe to settle down in a single place, however those migrating to Citivale for new beginnings see settling down in a city as a new adventure with thousands of things to discover, from a lifestyle that challenges many of the things they’ve been taught since birth.
Tribes and Community: Concolor Centaur tribes need to follow a very strict set of rules, schedule and codes of conduct in order to survive the harsh environment they are born in. Inside the tribes they see every member who can fend for themselves and provide to the community as a valued member, and those who can not, excepting young and sick ones, are seen as weak, often shunned and seen as a burden to the tribe as a whole, however they keep them inside the community because they are seen as family. They are very loyal to the tribes they are born in, and they more often than not disregard the member’s personal views in order to favor the community’s view on a certain topic, per example if a Concolor Centaur falls in love with a member of a rivaling community, they will shun said member and continue their views on the opposing community with very little room to change. However lately some Concolor Centaur tribes have started developing some rogue communities inside their tribes who might end up leaving them completely in search for a new life either in the desert or in new places, such as forests or cities and are seen as sworn enemies by their previous communities.
Concolor Names: Concolor Centaurs see names as the mark of their legacies once they leave their current plane, and as such rarely do the Concolor Centaurs give their newborns family names, opting to come up with something new for their child.
