Homebrew Bone Devil Species Details

Bone devils work as cruel taskmasters for the demons in the nine hells. Their job is usually keeping weaker devils in check, putting them to work and making sure they keep working. They enjoy demoting the devils who defy them. At the same time though, they constantly wish for promotion. Many are envious of their superiors. Bone devils are pale white creatures, with pointy stingers attached to a tail. Their tail seems to have a trail of gas that has a scent of decay. They have wings, but these wings are primitive, not allowing them to fly very fast. Their faces almost resemble skulls, as they are extremely pale faces with sharp points. They usually attack using their claws, and their flight can allow for some advantages in combat. Very few travel outside of the nine hells, but the ones that do are usually disguised, as many fear bone devils. If they are lucky enough to learn common, they probably would seek leadership positions. Some are known to enjoy adventuring, and very few may find a party to go with.

You are accustomed to the darkness of the nine hells and have been granted the ability to see in the dark. You can see in dim light within 120 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You cannot see color in the darkness while using the superior dark vision, only shades of gray.

You are feared both inside and outside the nine hells. You have disadvantage in Persuasion (Charisma) checks. People do not trust you very easily, it will take time for you to be recognized as a citizen.
