Homebrew Aracnae Species Details

Aracnae are creatures similar to driders, but unaffiliated to Lolth. They have a humanoid body, but below the waist is the body of a large spider. Hailing from the feywild, a few small clans of Aracnae have recently ventured into the underdark of the material plane, searching for new lands. Their upper bodies are usually very pale, and they have white or light gray hair to match. Their eight eyes are brightly tinted shades of red, green, or purple. The lower bodies of hunter Aracnae are on the furrier side, having brown or gray hair, and with legs that round off at the bottom. Weaver Aracnae's lower bodies are more hairless, with legs that taper off into a point.

Size. Aracnae are usually 6 to 7 feet tall, with abdomens about 3 to 4 feet thick. Their posture can change their overall height, depending on how close to the ground they hold themselves. Your size is medium.
