Subrace

Thousands of years ago there were millions of Deilta, but the two biggest tribes started a war over the land between their territories forcing the smaller tribes to pick sides or join the smaller team of Deilta made up of many of the smaller tribes, this war went on for tens of years leaving almost all of the Deilta dead and all of the remaining wounded the three groups went separate ways each only having about 80 people left with the group of the smaller tribes left with 50-60 survivors soon after losing 15 of the surviving with more severe wounds.

One of the larger tribes delved deep into underground tunnels often found living with dwarves and drows, the other larger tribe living in small groups sometimes with high Elves or living solitary lives, the last group hiding in forests far away from other races but sometimes living temporarily with wood Elves and gnomes. These three groups tend to dislike each other but sometimes work together, if you witness this count yourself one in a million and savour the moment because you will probably never see it again.
