Homebrew COPY_OF_Greater Blackhorn Minotaur Species Details

These Minotaurs were slaves to the mind flayers for 150 years. They eventually broke free of their captors and swore that they would train in hand to hand combat, along with bludgeoning weapons until they could break solid stone with one blow. They also raid dueregar clans and take all of the iron to use for armor and other purposes. They have tamed purple worms so that they eat mind flayers and even use them as war beasts. 

These Minotaurs have eaten shrieker mushrooms to gain psychic resistance and are the smartest of all of the Minotaurs. They attack aberrant creatures on sight and will not stop fighting for good in the Underdark until the mind flayers no longer exist.

Muscle on Muscle. The Minotaur is able to roll twice on attack and damage rolls and add the two for the damage.

The Blackhorns not only train in fighting, but also must consume large amounts of meat and mushrooms. They must do so for combat against creatures from the Far Realm or just for combat in general. They actually are not evil-but lean towards neutrality.

Hammer mastery

Because of the training they do with fist fighting, they prefer hammers and mauls greatly over other weapons.

Size

These Minotaurs are bigger than normal. Their height is 7-8 feet tall. They weigh 200-350 pounds.

Age

They grow at the average rate of a human. They live on average 150 years.

Alignment

The Blackhorn Minotaurs tend to lean towards neutral good.
