Homebrew Akalie Species Details

Akalie are humanoid tigers that walk on two legs.They are mostly thought of as fierce barbarians but some are known to be skilled craftsmen and artisans.They live in clans in the jungles and survive off the land.In their clans the clan is family and no one knows who their parents are.You take care of others and in return others care for you.

Alignment: most commonly neutral 

Size:  Akalie range from five feet to well over six feet, your size is medium

Age: Akalie reach adulthood at eighteen and live to be around one hundred years old

you can chose to be a jungle Akalie or a flatland Akalie

JUNGLE AKALIE

The jungle Akalie are usually more nimble and agile then there cousins the plain Akalie. They are mostly skilled artisans and craftsmen. The ones that are warriors usually use ranged weapons like bows, sling, etc.. or  double wield scimitars and other light weapons.

The flatland Akalie are more stout and muscular than their cousins the jungle Akalie.They specialize in great swords, hammers, maces, etc...

Akalie Traits

+1 Intelligence, cornered, claws, pounce, Cats always land on their feet

 at lvl 1 and above when you make an unarmed attack it does 1d4 of slashing damage, at lvl 8 it does 1d6 of slashing damage

Cornered

at lvl 2 if you are attacked three times or intimidated before your turn add +2 to your next attack.

Pounce

at lvl 5 after taking a dash action you can preform a pounce action which does 1d6 + your Dexterity modifier   

Cats always land on their feet

at lvl 3 when you fall make a Dexterity check if you succeed take no damage,if you fail take half damage.
