Homebrew Angel of Balthial Species Details

Messenger forced to carry out the work of Balthial*. (Sometimes forced to work as a spy for him, but thats unimportant in this campaign) Humanoid creatures with black eyes and large feathery wings. Can become an Ophanim* when angered or frightened (once per long rest). Can fly long distances, but become damaged and cannot fly when wet.

1)*The angel of forgiveness (was the main antagonist in the other campaign this role was used in, but he can pretty much just be a deity of any sort)

2)*The wheel looking biblical angels. (DEF +5 ATK +5 SPD -10 DUR 3 Turns/ until 10 DMG dealt)

Created by Balthial to control the population of Skie. The angels became free when the adventurer guild "Kill Those MF Angels" with the help of their angel guide Felix, rose up against  Balthial, severing his control over the angels. The angels are still feared and victims to hate crimes and violence consistently no matter where they go. Some angels are able to find jobs, but most are on the poverty line, and unemployed. Angels make up a majority of the homeless population, as well as the population in jails. Angels are considered extremely dangerous and can be if they feel threatened, but most angels are benign and loving, they are also extremely loyal, make an angel your friend and they will stay that way forever.

Angel of Balthial Traits

Can fly at lvl 1. Can transform starting lvl 1 as bonus action.

flying speed of 60 feet. can’t be wearing heavy armor. cant be wet.

can speak, read, and write Common, celestial.

Alignment

Most angels are very kind and usually fall under good/ neutral alignments but some have been tortured by their treatment in society and have snapped.

Angels are usually very tall but have average builds otherwise
