Homebrew Digitoid Species Details

Through a series of events, your character has been transported to another world. A digitalized world where the rules of logic and reality are different. And with that, your character has changed to fit the logic of this new, computerized world.

But perhaps, there is another scenario. Your character had already been living among the ones and zeroes. Then, through a sudden and extreme event, your character has been taken to the physical world. But what's this? Your character still operates with the logic of the program they came from. And now they can adventure in the physical world as an unfamiliar being.

These beings have no specific appearance. Their heights, builds, and features may vary in appearance. Although, these beings were meant to be used in a Sci-fi world full of humans, who's to say your campaign can't be Sci-fi and still have Orcs, Dwarves, or Elves. With this in mind, your Digitoid may take on the appearance of just about any pre-existing race.

 

 Programed for Journeying

Digitoids see no need for a permanent home. They are hardwired nomads that will endlessly travel whatever world they may find themselves in.

 

Digitoid Traits

A Digiotid's traits are highly variable. While they are most commonly humans, most of their traits can vary depending on what race they are based on.

Ability Score Increase

You have 4 ability score points to spend. You may have up to 2 maximum in a single ability score.  It is your choice of 1 in 4 different abilities, 2 in 2 different abilities, or 2 in 1 ability, and 1 in two others.

Age

Digitoids are beyond the concept of age, and will seemingly live forever. The age they appear at is dependent on whatever they biological being they may or may not be based on.

Alignment

 Digitoids have no particular alignment. Your character can be paired with any alignment, and it wouldn't feel out of place.

Size

Your size is dependent on whatever your character is based on

Speed

Your base walking speed is 40 feet.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common and one extra language of your choice. Depending on what ever race your character originates from, that may determine your second language. If it is human, you may pick any other language of your choice.

Synthesized Resiliance

Digitoids gain the following benefits.

• Immune to disease.
• Do not need to eat, drink, or Breathe.
• Do no require sleep, and cannot be put to sleep with magic.

Low Power Mode

Instead of sleeping, enter a state of fully aware stillness. During this time, you gain all of the benefits of a long rest in the span of a short rest. You also gain +4 to your passive perception.

Advanced Skillset

You may add 4 feats of your choice to your character. This includes feats from any pre-existing race.
