Homebrew Arachnae Species Details
Arachnae originated from a primordial being cursed by a Goddess for her hubris. Feared and loathed wherever they tried to live, the Gods took pity on them and allowed the Arachnae people to live in another world they would not be shunned for the curse placed upon their ancestor.
The Arachnae are skilled weavers; often being hailed as the pinnacle of the craft. Many attribute their skills to their finely honed precision when weaving to their ability to detect even the smallest tremor within the material; enabling them to make even the most fine adjustments and avoid damaging the more delicate threads as they weave.
Though they are more generally accepted in society than before, there are still many who distance themselves; even going so far as to call them 'monsters' or 'savages'. because of this, their societal standing if often times not much higher than Orcs or the Yuan-Ti.

Arachnae get +2 DEX and +1 CHA
Adept Climber
As an Arachnae, you are adept and traversing up walls without much issue giving you a climbing speed of 30ft. As good as you are, however, you cannot hang from ceilings.
Master Weaver
Arachnae are considered to be the best artisans of woven goods and are even able to incorporate some of their own silk into their goods. You have Expertise with your Weaver's Tools. At level 5, you can cast Web without using a spell slot or required materials. Dexterity is the spellcasting ability for this spell. You may use this ability once per Long Rest as it takes time to rebuild your natural webbing used in the spell.
Tremorsense
Like their arachnid counterparts, Arachnae are capable of sensing vibrations, allowing them to avoid danger even if they cannot see the threat. However their ability to do so is not as proficient as spiders.
Size
Arachnae are medium sized creatures with many being between around 4-6 ft.
Age
Arachnae do not enjoy the same lifespan of some of the other creatures of Fareun, only living to around to 60 years of age. However recent rumors have said that some tribes are beginning to show longer lifespans; possibly due to the longer the species has started to call Faerun its home.
